Greenville, SC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte cross country teams participated in their final regular season meet of the year on Saturday at the Bruins XC Invite.
The Wildcat men ran well, finishing runner-up. Their team score of 50 left them behind only Truett-McConnell, and bested the host school, Bob Jones by 2 points.
Logan Shaffer (7th/28:07.20) and
Liam Robinson (9th/28:18.41) each posted top ten finishes across the 8k distance.
Dillon Neeley finished 16th in 29:31.47, while
Dylan Michaud came home 24th with a time of 33:14.35.
Colby Belk ran a 34:45.54 to finish 29th while
Erick Paz was 33rd in 36:11.65.
The women ran a 6k that saw
Sofia Varela finish 8th in 26:09.20 and
Aitana Matuty was 26th with a time of 34:21.84.
JWU next heads to the USCAA National Championships in Uniontown, PA on November 10th.
