Misenheimer, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte picked up its first road win of the season, defeating Pfeiffer 66-56 on Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats held the Falcons to just 4 first quarter points and led by as many as 20 in the first half.
Maliah Preston had 13 of her 18 points in the first half, including 4 three pointers.
Pfeiffer outscored the Wildcats by ten in the third stanza to cut the JWU lead to just three with ten minutes to play. The Wildcats scored the first seven points of the fourth quarter to rebuild a double digit lead, and were never threatened the rest of the way.
Laken Powe had her first collegiate double-double with career-highs of 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Jordan Durant had 12 points and 8 assists.Â
