Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte defeated William Peace 71-34 on Wednesday night.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 42-13 halftime lead, shooting 47.5% in the first half, while at the same time holding the Pacers to just 19.2% from the field in the first twenty minutes. JWU forced thirty William Peace miscues and had a seventeen rebound advantage on the boards.Â
Gabby Tapley posted a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. That was part of a balanced Wildcat offensive attack that saw
Jordan Durant score 11 and
Maliah Preston and
Kyrah Davis score 10 points each. Durant,
Joyiah White and
Samara Britt each had 7 rebounds.Â
