McKenzie Taylor scored 22 of her career high 29 points in the first half of JWU's 88-44 win over Toccoa Falls on Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats raced out to an 18-6 lead after the first quarter, and extended that advantage to 41-13 at the half. The Screaming Eagles (16-4) shot just 3 of 28 from the field in the first twenty minutes and committed 17 first half miscues. Taylor outscored Toccoa Falls herself in the half, making 9 of 11 field goal attempts.Â
JWU (17-4) continued their offensive onslaught in the second half, shooting 53% from the field.
Jayla Lovett scored 19 of her 21 points after halftime, as part of 43 total points from the bench in the game.

Jamyah Blakeney starred with 11 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals.Â
The Wildcats return to action on Monday, February 12th when they travel to Columbia (SC) for a 5:30pm tipoff.
