Spartanburg, SC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's basketball fell to Converse 73-49 in the Wildcats' final road game of the season.
Converse jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never trailed. The Wildcats shot just 37.3% from the field, their second lowest percentage of the season. JWU was able to trim the Valkyrie lead to just 4 with eight minutes remaining in the first half, but trailed by fifteen at the break.Â
Ethan Smith led the Wildcats with 12 points.
Cameron Lawson scored 9 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and handed out 5 assists.
JWU returns home on Saturday, February 10th as they host Central International at 3pm.
