Charlotte, NC - Bob Jones knocked off the Johnson & Wales Charlotte volleyball team 3-0 on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats started strong, and led for much of the first set. JWU had 11 kills in the period, hitting .214. It was not enough to hold off the six time NCCAA national champions, as the Bruins rallied to win the stanza 25-23. Bob Jones then cruised in the final two sets, 25-9 and 25-8.
Kalin Lincoln led the offense with 5 kills, while
Loshi Ward added 4. Ward also had 8 assists.
Chanel Garcia paced the Wildcat defense with 6 digs.
JWU returns to action on Thursday, September 19th when they welcome Cleveland Community College for a 6pm match.
