Misenheimer, NC - Two early goals propelled the Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Pfeiffer on Tuesday night.

The Wildcats set a new school record scoring just thirty-one seconds into the match. Azalianna Absalom was fouled in the penalty area and promptly converted the spot kick, beating the keeper low and right. Absalom struck again just over 100 seconds later as Taylor Witherspoon looped a pass over the Falcon back line that found her open in front of goal. Katie Douglas converted a sixty-fourth minute penalty kick for the final Wildcat tally of the night.

JWU out shot Pfeiffer 19-11 on the evening. Zoe Balmer and Hanna Ciplickas combined to make six saves in earning the team's second consecutive clean sheet.

The Wildcats are next in action on Saturday, September 21st when they welcome Greensboro College to OrthoCarolina Sportsplex for a 3pm match.
