Pineville, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's soccer team downed Greensboro College 2-0 on Wednesday night to even their season record at 2-2-2.
Fernando Gomez got the Wildcats on the board in the thirty-sixth minute as he took a cross field pass from
Eugenio de la Parra Polina and beat the Pride goalkeeper to his near post for the goal. JWU keeper
Colin Starr made back-to-back acrobatic saves just eight minutes prior to keep Greensboro off the scoresheet.
de la Parra Polina again served a laser of a pass to set up the second goal of the night, as his far post cross settled right to
Luke Johnson, who finished the job.
JWU is next in action on Tuesday, September 24th when they travel to Methodist for a 5pm match.
