Box Score Fayetteville, NC - Two goals in a six minute span propelled Johnson & Wales Charlotte to a 2-1 win over Methodist on Tuesday evening.

Eugenio de la Parra Polina scored at the half hour mark, and then assisted on Lucas Lesh's strike six minutes later to post the Wildcats to a 2-0 halftime lead. Methodist outshot JWU 14-8 for the game, but could only pull one goal back, a 55th minute tally from Steven Floyd.

Colin Starr made five saves in goal for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats next travel to Virginia State University for a 4:00pm match on Sunday, September 29th.
