Greensboro, N.C. - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's cross country team continued its 2025 slate by competing at the UNCG Spartain Classic on Friday evening.

The Wildcats finished 14th in the 16 team field with 386 points.

Aitana Matuty was the fastest JWU runner, covering the 5k distance in 26:43.2. Ava Ferraro and Jalynn Wright finished 88th and 89th in times of 27:44.8 and 27:56.7. Koyah Worthington ran a 32:14.3 to finish 96th, while Nola Sierferman finished 98th in a time of 33:21.3.

JWU is next in action on Friday, October 10th when they take part in the Royals XC Challenge at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte.
