Misenheimer, N.C. - The Johnson & Wales women's tennis team kicked off their 2025-26 campaign with a match against Pfeiffer on Tuesday, October 7th.

The host Falcons won 7-0.

Paloma Nitcholas and Anna Katherine Medlin fared the best of the three doubles matches, falling 6-2 in the #1 doubles match. Medlin also pushed her singles match to a third set. She captured the first set 6-4, before dropping the second set 6-2 to Pfeiffer's Fanny Apostolou. Apostolou then won the tiebreaker 10-5.

JWU is next in action on Thursday, October 9th when they host Bluefield State for a 3pm match.
