Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte defeated Pfeiffer 73-69 in overtime on Wednesday night.

The Falcons outscored JWU 18-9 in the third quarter to take a 44-38 lead with ten minutes to play. The Wildcats still trailed by six with a minute to play, but scored on their final three possessions while holding Pfeiffer without a point to force an extra period. The teams traded the lead for the first three and a half minutes of overtime before JWU finished the game on a 7-3 run.

The Wildcats placed five players in double figures, led by Maliah Preston's 16 points. Laylah Toscano, Korletta Daniels, and Gabby Tapley each had 14 points, while Kyrah Davis added 10. Toscano also had 13 rebounds.
