Charlotte, N.C. - William Peace University defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 79-60 in men's basketball on Tuesday evening.
The Wildcats led 32-29 at halftime thanks in large part to
Antonio Perkins's 9 points and
Cole Callaway's 7 points off the bench. JWU also had 5 steals as part of 8 Pacer turnovers in the period.
William Peace caught fire in the second twenty minutes, connecting on nearly 70% of their shots and outrebounding JWU 21-12.Â
Ethan Smith led the Wildcats with 11 points, while Perkins finished with 10.
JWU is next in action on Friday, December 5th when they travel to Maryville, Tenn. to participate in the Renasant Bank Classic. They will take on hosts Maryville College at 7:00pm.
