Charlotte, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's basketball team won for the seventh time in nine games on Saturday, defeating Morris College 92-87.

JWU closed the first half on a 24-9 run to turn a 24-24 tie into a 48-33 lead. The Wildcats continued their hot shooting of late, making 20 of their 34 first half field goal attempts. They also outrebounded the Hornets 22-13 in the first half.

After missing all seven of their three-point attempts in the first half, Morris made five of their first six in the second, rallying to tie the game at 58 with thirteen minutes left.
