Charlotte, NC - Spartanburg Methodist defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 60-54 on Saturday afternoon.
The Pioneers used a 13-3 run in the third quarter to build a ten point lead that they would not relinquish. Neither team shot the ball well. Spartanburg Methodist converted just 34.4% of their shot attempts, while the Wildcats struggled to just 26.0% shooting. The teams combined to go 21-46 at the free throw line.
De'Ashaj Crawford scored 12 points.
Jordan Durant had 10 points and 17 rebounds.Â
