Charlotte, NC - Spartanburg Methodist defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 60-54 on Saturday afternoon.

The Pioneers used a 13-3 run in the third quarter to build a ten point lead that they would not relinquish. Neither team shot the ball well. Spartanburg Methodist converted just 34.4% of their shot attempts, while the Wildcats struggled to just 26.0% shooting. The teams combined to go 21-46 at the free throw line.

De'Ashaj Crawford scored 12 points. Jordan Durant had 10 points and 17 rebounds. 

The Wildcats return home on Monday, February 17th as they host Montreat at 6pm.
