Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales took on local opponent Johnson C. Smith in men's tennis on Tuesday afternoon.

The Golden Bulls prevailed 5-2 in the match, winning 4 of the 6 singles matches and earning the doubles point.

Freshman Maxwell Frederick continued the strong start to his collegiate career, winning the #5 singles match 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 10-6. Dylan Hight captured a point in the #6 singles match, also winning a three-setter 6-2, 5-7, 10-6.

Frederick teamed with Justin Wagner to take the #3 doubles tilt 6-1 over JCSU's tandem of Moises Difuti and Jeffrey Theophilius-Thompson.

The Wildcats travel to Brevard on Saturday, February 22nd for a 1:00pm match.
