Greensboro, N.C. - Greensboro College defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 1-0 in women's soccer on Wednesday evening.
The game was a defensive battle, as the two teams combined for less than twenty shots in total.
Jess Garman was the only Wildcat to record more than one shot. Greensboro's Trinity Robinson scored the game's only goal in the thirty-fifth minute, picking up a pass on the left side of the six yard box and slotting it home in the right corner.
Zoe Balmer made a season-high ten saves for JWU.
The Wildcats next travel to NC Wesleyan on Sunday, September 14th for a 4:00pm match.
