Bluefield, Va. - Johnson & Wales's Meadow Ciccarella won her first collegiate individual tournament title at the Fincastle Intercollegiate hosted by Bluefield University.

After opening with an 87 on Monday, Ciccarella followed that up with an 83 on Tuesday, the second best score of the day amongst the field, moving her from T5 to the top of the leaderboard. Isabelle Wood shot rounds of 91-89-180 to finish in 8th place. The Wildcats 892 total score was good enough for 3rd place as a team.

The Wildcat men finished 8th in the 12 team field, following rounds of 305-315-620. Bowen Kicklighter fired rounds of 72-73-145 to finish tied for 5th place, earning All-Tournament honors. Quinton Heljenek finished tied for 31st with rounds of 75-81-156.

The JWU men next travel to Greenville, S.C. to play in the Bruins Golf Classic hosted by Bob Jones University on September 22nd and 23rd at Cobbs Glen Country Club. The Wildcat women are next in action on October 5th and 6th at the Golden Oaks Shootout in Fleetwood, PA.
