Johnson City, Tenn. - The Johnson & Wales men's and women's golf teams participated in the one-day, two round Northeast Tennessee Shootout on Tuesday.
The Wildcat men shot rounds of 304-316-620 to finish in eighth place.
Johnathan Le finished tied for 11th after rounds of 73-76-149.
Bowen Kicklighter also posted a top twenty finish after rounds of 79-74-153.
Parker Legreid opened with a 74 in the first round and followed that up with an 81 in the afternoon eighteen to finish tied for 27th.
Quinton Heljenek (78-87-165) and
Garrett Hartley (80-85-165) each posted one counting round for JWU, each finishing tied for 49th.
JWU's women shot a two round total of 914 to also finish eighth.
Meadow Ciccarella posted a top ten result after rounds of 82-84-166.
Nellie Brewer (114-114-228/39th),
Gina Rumschlag (131-128-259/40th) and
Mia Townson (131-130-261/41st) had the other counting scores for the Wildcats.
The teams have a quick turnaround as they next head to Jacksonville, N.C. to take part in the prestigious Camp LeJeune Invite beginning on April 10th.
