Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte defeated Warren Wilson 93-85 in men's basketball on Tuesday night.
 

Highlights:

• The first thirteen minutes of the game were tight, as neither team led by more than four points. 
• JWU was able to build a lead over the next five minutes, holding as much as a nine point advantage.
• Warren Wilson scored the final four points of the half to trail by only four points at the break, 39-35.
• The Owls used a 21-14 spurt over the first seven minutes of the second half to take their largest lead of the game, 56-53.
• JWU responded with an 18-7 spurt to build an eight point lead with 8:37 remaining.
• Warren Wilson could not get closer than two points for the remainder of the game.

Key Stats:

• The Wildcats outrebounded the Owls 35-31.
• Each JWU player made at least two field goals and seven of the ten had between 8 and 14 points.
• Cooper Wiley posted a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. 
• Ethan Smith led the Wildcats with 14 points.
