Charlotte, N.C. - Montreat College defeated Johnson & Wales 93-78 in men's basketball on Thursday night.
The visiting Cavaliers outscored JWU 46-28 in the first half thanks in large part to a 30-19 advantage on the boards in the period.Â
JWU got hot from the floor in the second twenty minutes, shooting 51.4% and closed the game on a 22-10 run.
Ethan Smith led the Wildcats with 15 points.
Cooper Wiley posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Sincere Rasul came off the bench to add 12 points, while Willam Givens, Jr. had 11.
The Wildcats next welcome Regent University to the Wildcat Center for a 3pm tip on Saturday, February 7th.
