Ashland, Va. - Randolph-Macon defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 2-1 in men's soccer on Wednesday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets jumped on top in the thirty-fourth minute as JWU committed a foul in the penalty area. Damien Jackson converted the resulting penalty kick. Jackson scored again at the hour mark to double the Randolph-Macon lead before
Ashton Smith found a consolation goal with thirteen minutes to play for JWU.
Randolph-Macon outshot JWU 7-5 and earned seven corner kicks. Smith led the Wildcats with 2 shots.
Colin Starr made one save for JWU.
