Montreat, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte opened the men's soccer season with a 2-2 draw at Montreat.
JWU built a 2-0 lead over the game's first hour as freshman
Ryan Joye and sophomore
Cody Gomez each found the back of the net. The Cavaliers rallied with two goals in the final quarter hour to earn the draw.
Alan Ramirez and
Dominik Danko had two shots each to lead JWU.
Colin Starr made seven saves in net for the Wildcats.
JWU next travels to Randolph on Saturday, September 5th for a 6:00pm kickoff.
