Lynchburg, Va. - Randolph College defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 2-1 in men's soccer on Saturday evening.
The host WildCats got on the board first, as Corey Williams scored in the sixty-third minute. Freshman
Dominik Danko answered for JWU, netting his first collegiate goal ten minutes later. It took Randolph just four minutes to find a winner, as Fernando Quinteros's goal proved to be decisive.
Randolph outshot JWU 13-7, and eared 11 corner kicks. Danko led JWU with 2 shots.
Colin Starr made five saves in goal for the Wildcats.
JWU continues their Virginia road trip on Wednesday, September 9th as they travel to Randolph-Macon for a 4:00pm kickoff.
