Johnson & Wales University Charlotte

2024–2025 Season: Mia joined the track team and set personal records of 15.11 in the 100m, 31.46 in the 200m, and 1:12.58 in the 400m. She was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that placed 5th at the USCAA National Championships. In addition to track, Mia plays forward for the Johnson & Wales soccer team, where she helped the Wildcats reach the USCAA Championship. 

High School: Mia graduated from the American School of Guatemala, where she earned Honor Roll recognition and served as captain of the soccer team. 

Personal Background: Mia is a junior from Guatemala City, Guatemala, studying Baking & Pastry Arts. She competes in the 400m, 200m, and 4x400 for the Wildcats. She is the daughter of Patty Townson and has two siblings, Iker Townson and Ariella Townson.
