AT JWU: Annie Medlin returns to the Wildcats following a record-breaking freshman season at Johnson & Wales Charlotte. During her first year, Annie established the program's single-season singles wins record while competing at No. 1 singles and was named the team's Most Valuable Player.

PREP:  Prior to joining JWU, Annie starred at Greene Central High School, where she helped lead the Rams to a 31st consecutive conference championship and a NCHSAA 2A state playoff appearance. A three-time Eastern Plains Conference Player of the Year and four-time All-Conference selection, Annie finished her high school career with 153 victories, two NCHSAA 2A Eastern Regional titles, and a state finalist appearance in singles. Not only a star on the tennis court, Medlin was the Most Valuable Player of the Rams' softball team, posting a .311 average in 2025. She was named as the Top Female Athlete by hte Neuse News and Greenville Daily Reflector following both her junior and senior seasons, and also received the WITN News Pepsi Spotlight Athlete Award.
