Biography

AT JWU: After originally joining Johnson & Wales Charlotte as a dual-sport athlete, Covey has since focused her talents on tennis and has become a valuable contributor to the program. She competed at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles last season.

PREP:  Alexander brings a strong competitive background to the Wildcats after developing her game through South Carolina's junior tennis community. Before competing at the collegiate level, she participated in USTA Junior Team Tennis leagues through the Charleston Tennis Center and local junior events. Also played volleyball in high school.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Janette Alexander.
