Biography

AT JWU: Abrams has been a valued member of the Wildcats since joining the Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's tennis program in 2023. A four-year varsity player at Colville High School, Payton competed at No. 1 singles during her senior season after moving up from the No. 2 position as a junior. Throughout her collegiate career, she has demonstrated exceptional versatility, competing at No. 2 through No. 5 singles and all three doubles positions. Payton holds the program record for the most singles matches played in Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's tennis history.

PREP: Played tennis at Colville High School for each of her four years there.. Was the #1 singles for the Crimson Hawks in her senior year after moving up from the #2 slot during her junior year.

PERSONAL: She is the daughter of Riki and Christopher Abrams
