Johnson & Wales University took on the Crusaders from North Greenville University on Tuesday night. The contest started even, as both teams exchanged baskets throughout the first half.

With solid rebounding on behalf of North Greenville University, the Crusaders managed to produce a double digit lead.  Turnovers accompanied by the lack of offensive and defensive execution allowed for the Crusaders to enter halftime with a solid lead.

Johnson & Wales University began the second half with aggressive offense play, as they looked to trim the deficit. North Greenville University would answer with efficient shooting during the second half primarily from long range.

Although the Wildcats would begin to knock down 3 point shots, the Crusaders would successfully keep control of the game, courtesy of solid defense.

Despite being defeated, the Wildcats were lead by solid play from Michael Daniel who recorded 11 points, 9 rebounds, 1 block and 2 steals.

Johnson & Wales University will continue their game filled week, as they look forward to taking on Allen University on January 30^th. Game time is scheduled for 7:30pm at the Grady Cole Center.
