Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte head men's basketball coach Marc Slade is happy to announce the addition of Jordan Leaphart to the Wildcat coaching staff. Leaphart will serve as a volunteer assistant coach.

Leaphart began his collegiate playing career at Guilford Tech before transferring to Columbia International University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from CIU and went on to get a Master of Science in College Athletic Administration from Coker University.

His coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach at Carolina International School in Concord and also works with the Pro Skills AAU Program.

Coach Slade is excited to add a young coach to the staff that has experience developing players. "Coach Leaphart will be a great addition to the Wildcat Family. He brings a fresh new perspective to the coaching staff. His coaching experience includes work at both the high-school and grassroots levels, giving him experience of developing players while helping them understand the game beyond the court. He is a young rising star in the coaching world, and we are excited to have him on board."
