Charlotte, NC - The Johnson & Wales men's and women's tennis teams sandwiched matches around a Saturday weather postponement this weekend.

The women traveled to Pfeiffer on Friday, falling to the host Falcons 8-1. Erin Weidner picked up the lone point for the Wildcats with a 3-6, 7-5, 10-7 win over Pfeiffer's Emily Moore.

Saturday's rainy weather forced the postponement of the two teams' trip to Ferrum. Those matches are in the process of being rescheduled.

The men took on Methodist on Sunday afternoon in Fayetteville. Methodist got the best of the Wildcats, also by an 8-1 score. Sam Ciciarello ran his singles record to 2-0 with a 7-5, 1-6, 10-5 victory over the Monarchs' Willis Belser.

The Wildcat netters return home on Friday, 3/3 to host West Virginia Wesleyan at 1pm.
