Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte's
Azalianna Absalom has been named the Coast-To-Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. She is the first Wildcat athlete to receive such recognition from the C2C.
Absalom had a career-high 5 points in JWU's 3-0 win at Christendom on October 11th. She scored twice in a ten minute span late in the first half to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead, and then capped off her day by assisting on
Olivia Kieffer's second half goal.
She now has three goals on the season for the Wildcats, who stand at 7-5 heading into Friday's home match with Cincinnati-Clermont.
