Lenoir, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's track & field team wrapped up the regular season portion of their schedule at the Southside Power & Fitness Invite at Lenoir-Rhyne on Friday and Saturday.
The results were highlighted by a 3rd place finish in the 4x100 meter relay. The foursome of
Sarah Milne,
Emoni Williams,
Elizabeth Parsells, and
Mia Townson composed the Wildcat team for the event.Â
Other track highlights included a 6th place finish by
Emily Spies in the 3000m steeplechase. Milne, Townson, and
Jalynn Wright all posted top 20 finishes in the 400 meters.
Bee Singleton led the Wildcats in the field events, posting a 16th place finish in the shot put, with a top throw of 9.15 meters.
JWU men's cross country team members Maleik Chalmers finished 6th in the men's 400 meters, and Dillon Neeley came home 5th in the 1500 meters.
The Wildcats next travel to Springfield, Massachusetts on April 25th and 26th to take part in the USCAA National Track & Field Championships.
