Springfield, MA - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte track & field team wrapped up their 2025 season at the USCAA National Championships on Saturday.
JWU picked up three points in the 100 meters as
Elizabeth Parsells ran a 14.12 to finish 7th, with teammate
Kirsten Cannon right behind her in a time of 14.15 seconds. Parsells duplicated her 7th place finish in the 200 meters, posting a time of 29.16 seconds. She then finished 4th in the 400, earning 5 points in a time of 1:05.91.Â
Emily Spies finished 3rd in the 3000 meter steeplechase, earning 6 points towards the team score.
Sarah Milne jumped 4.59 meters to finish 4th in the long jump.
Bee Singleton threw the shot 8.99 meters to earn a 5th place finish in that event.
The Wildcats' 33.5 points was good enough for 8th place out of 18 teams. SUNY-ESF won the meet with 142 points.
Several of the Wildcat men's cross country team members also took part in the meet.
Maleik Chalmers won the men's 200 meter dash in a time of 23.13 seconds. He then finished 2nd in the 400 meters, posting a time of 50.72 seconds.
Dillon Neeley earned podium spots in both the 1500 meters (4:14.08) and the 5000 meters (17:24.29).
