Charlotte, NC - Ashley Hart has signed with Johnson & Wales women's golf, becoming the first member of the 2025 recruiting class.

Hart was a member of the golf team at North Davidson High School during her senior year. She also played basketball for the Black Knights during the 2022-23 school year.

She is the daughter of Anna and Joe Hart, and plans to major in Baking & Pastry Arts and Food & Beverage  Industry Management at Johnson & Wales. When asked why she decided to become a Wildcat, she replied, "I wanted to be close to home and live my dream." Hart has been both a Model UN and Environmental debate state champion. She is also a Capstone Scholar.

Johnson & Wales head golf coach Luke Gossert thinks Hart's intangibles will be one of her best assets.  "Ashley is an incredibly passionate young woman with a true love for the game of golf. She's planning to study bakery and pastry arts at JWU, a reflection of her creativity and enthusiasm for learning. She will be an incredible asset to our team."
