Guilford Tops Women's Soccer

Pineville, NC - Guilford remained unbeaten in 2025 with a 2-1 win over Johnson & Wales Charlotte in women's soccer on Monday evening.

The Quakers opened the scoring in the twenty eighth minute when Ashlyn Kahre found the back of the net from 18 yards out after a throw in. The Wildcats responded quickly, knotting the score at 1 seven minutes later when Emily Spies found Olivia Kieffer on the left side of the penalty area, who then beat her defender and the goalkeeper.

Guilford's Kylee Berry provided the game winner in the seventy-second minute when she headed a corner kick over the goal line.

JWU was held to just three shots on the evening, with Hannah Greene having the only other on target attempt for the Wildcats.

Zoe Balmer and Allison Bryman combined to make three saves.
