Courtney Orr is excited to announce the signing of Zoey Griffitts to the Wildcats' 2026 recruiting class.
Griffitts is a senior at Timber Creek High School in Fort Worth, Texas. She plays club softball for NTX Ruthless and Excel Elite.
She is the daughter of Ramona and Michael Griffitts and plans to major in Food & Beverage Entrepreneurship at Johnson & Wales. She is the secretary of the FCCLA chapter at TCHS, and is also a member of the National Honor Society. "One day I hope to own my own cafe, and JWU gives me the opportunity to learn and live in a vibrant and inspirational area where I can make that a reality," remarked Griffitts when asked why she chose to attend JWU.
Griffitts take charge attitude is one the thingss that stood out most for Coach Orr when evaluating her. "One of the major things that stands out about Zoey is her initiative and ability to make things happen. Her attitude and character will be a gamechanger for our program and we can't wait to see what she does athletically for us. Welcome to the Pack, Zoey!"
