Charlotte, N.C. - The Coast-To-Coast Conference released its preseason baseball poll on Thrusday, 1/29. Johnson & Wales Charlotte was picked to finish fourth by league coaches.

Christopher Newport and Salisbury each received 8 votes to tie for the top spot in the 2026 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Softball Preseason Poll, following a vote among the league's head coaches.  Each team also received two first place votes.
Johnson & Wales Charlotte begins year two of the program under head coach
Courtney Orr. She has added 15 newcomers to the team that is looking to build a strong foundation for success. Key players to watch for the Wildcats include right-handed pitchers
Enijah Gary and
Mai Tellez-Martinez. Powering the JWU offense will be junior outfielder
Michelle Rojas, freshman infielder
Addison Laney, and freshman utility player
Jaden Hamilton. The Wildcats kick off the season with a trio of in-state opponents before heading to Florida to participate in The Spring Games, where they will take on D-III teams from around the country. The balance of the schedule features NCAA D-III, NAIA, NCCAA, and USCAA opponents from across the region.
The 2026 season starts in early February and concludes with the C2C Softball Championship taking place May 8th. Teams will be seeded based on conference results.
