Fayetteville, N.C. - The Johnson & Wales men's tennis teams traveled to Methodist University on Friday to take on the Monarchs and William Peace University in a pair of matches.

The Wildcats swept the first match against William Peace. The teams of John Billinis/Hugo Coassais and Nathaniel Lawler/Fernando Esteban each won their doubles matches at love.Justin Wagner and Sam Ciccarello joined that foursome in earning straight set wins in singles.

Methodist proved to be a sterner test for the Wildcats. Ciccarello and Cayden Danzer pushed their doubles match to the limit before falling 7-5. Ciccarello also took his singles match the farthest, losing to Andrew Waddill 2-6, 5-7 in #4 singles. 

JWU returns home on Sunday, April 19th for a 2:00pm match against William Peace in the season finale.
