Charlotte, N.C. - The Johnson & Wales women's track & field team was back in action for the final time this season on Friday at the Golden Bull Invitational hosted by Johnson C. Smith.
Mia Townson and
Asani Gerald posted 8th and 9th place finishes in the 400 meters.
Aitana Matuty posted a time of 6:13.21 in the 1500 meters to finish sixth.
Kalin Lincoln threw the javelin 25.83 meters to also finish sixth in that event.
The team will next participate in the Coast-To-Coast Conference Championships. It will begin on Friday, May 1st and is hosted by Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, Va.
