Charlotte, N.C. - Karoline Kastor has signed with Johnson & Wales Charlotte softball, becoming the ninth member of the Wildcats' 2026 recruiting class.
Kastor is a senior at Lemon Bay High School in Englewood, Florida. She currently is batting .310 for the Manta Rays and ranks third on the team in hits and fourth in RBI. She has been named captain of both her club and high school teams. She received the Catch of the Year award for her defense, and was a member of a regional championship team at LBHS. She plays club softball for UA Legends 18U.
Kastor is the daughter of Katherine and Jarrod Goff and plans to major in Psychology at Johnson & Wales. JWU's size and location were appealing to her. "I loved what I saw when I visited. The school is small and easy to navigate and I have family in North Carolina," replied Kastor when asked why she chose to become a Wildcat. She has earned Student of the Month honors and been nominated for the Hall of Fame.
JWU Softball head coach
Courtney Orr feels the rest of the team will feed off of Kastor's energy. "Karoline brings an energy and attitude that will be infectious! She lives our JWU softball program values and we can't wait to see what she can do for our program."
