Box Score Bluefield, WV - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's basketball team fell 145-106 to Bluefield State on Wednesday night.
The Blues outscored the Wildcats 49-22 over the final eleven minutes of the first half to open up a 82-46 halftime advantage. JWU played better in the second half, as they scored 60 points themselves, shooting 48.7% from the field in the contest.
The 251 combined points are the most in school history. Six Wildcats scored in double-figures, led by Fred Patterson's 30 points. Anthoney Ray added 18, Ethan Smith scored 11, and DJ Williams, Nathan Meshida, and Zyrion Wilkins had 10 each.
JWU is back in action on Friday, January 13th when they host Voorhees at 7pm.
