Charlotte, N.C. - Oglethorpe defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 96-91 on Friday night.

The game was close throughout as neither team led by more than eight points. Johnson & Wales thrice cut the Oglethorpe lead to as few as three points in the final 30 seconds, but the Stormy Petrels converted all six of their free throws during that stretch. The Stormy Petrels shot a scorching 57.1% from the field and had six players score in double figures. 

JWU was led by Antonio Perkins' 21 points, while Cooper Wiley added 20 points and 5 rebounds. 

The Wildcats next host Randolph College on Saturday, 11/22 at 1:00pm.
