Charlotte, NC - Jack Clayman has signed with Johnson & Wales men's golf, becoming the third member of the 2025 recruiting class.
Clayman, a Cameron, NC native, is a recent graduate of Western Harnett High School, and a four year member of the Eagles' golf team. He played well enough in 2025 to qualify as an individual for both the NCHSAA 3A Mideast Regional and North Carolina State Championships. He shot rounds of 81-78 in the State Championship tournament to finish t-52nd. Clayman was a First Team All-American Athletic Conference selection in both 2024 and 2025.Â
He is the son of Jody and Todd Clayman and plans to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales. He chose to become a Wildcat because he felt JWU had the best program and he really liked the school. "I am excited to move to Charlotte and do the best that I can both on and off of the course while uplifting the Lord's name." Clayman served as the Vice President of the FBLA chapter at WHHS during his senior year and was also an A/B Honor Roll student.
