Charlotte, NC - Parker Legreid has signed with Johnson & Wales Men's Golf, becoming the fourth member of the 2025 recruiting class.
Legreid is a native of Pullman, Washington, and recently graduated from Pullman High School. He played as the #1 for each of his four years on the Greyhounds' boys golf team, thrice being named Team Most Valuable Player. Legreid capped off his prep career by captaining PHS to the 2025 WIAA 2A State Championship, where he finished 4th individually. The WIAA also bestowed him with the "Just Play Fair" Award at the state championship tournament. Legreid is an accomplished junior golfer, competing in the Washington Junior Golf Association for four years. In that span, he has thirteen Top 10 finishes in WJGA events, and is a three-time WJGA State Championship qualifier. He claimed victories at the Lewiston Invitational and Palouse Ridge Invitational. He was twice named the Spokane Area Golf Player of the Year, and also earned P1FCU Athlete of the Week honors.
He is the son of Tammy and Erik Legreid and plans to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales. When asked why he chose to attend JWU Charlotte, he listed, "amazing academics, great atmosphere, and an overall great golf program," as reasons why. Legreid was an Honors Graduate at PHS and made the Dean's List four times in high school. He was recognized with the "Lead By Example" title and honored with the NECA/IBEW Greater Spokane League Spring Student-Athlete Award.
"I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion for golf at the next level," said Legreid about his decision to become a Wildcat. "Excited to continue my journey at a great school with an amazing team and coaching staff. Can't wait for what's ahead!"
