Charlotte, NC - Paloma Nitcholas has signed with Johnson & Wales women's tennis, becoming the second member of the Wildcats' 2025 recruiting class.
Nitcholas recently graduated from Stratford High School in Houston, Texas, where she was a three year member of the Spartan tennis team. She earned MVP honors following her sophomore season, and was a multiple time University Interscholastic League 17-6A Academic All-District Team member.
She is the daughter of Zamara Munoz and Mark Nitcholas and plans to major in Culinary Arts and Food & Beverage Industry Management at Johnson & Wales. "I chose JWU Charlotte because of all of the amazing programs and opportunities it offers," replied Nitcholas when asked why she decided to become a Wildcat. She continued, "I am excited to play college level tennis and meet new people!" She is a member of the National Honors Society at SHS and founded a non-profit at her high school. Her hobbies include baking, playing tennis, and playing guitar and piano.
