How It Happened:

• JWU built a 15-5 advantage in the game's first seven minutes behind 6 points from Zyrion Wilkins.
• Methodist cut the lead to 2 at one point, but the Wildcats closed the half on a 13-0 run to take a 36-16 lead at the break.
• It was a tale of two halves as the teams combined for 101 points in the second half, after only managing 52 in the first.
• The Monarchs tried to climb back into the game, cutting the Wildcat lead to as few as nine in the second half, but JWU was able to answer each Methodist run.
