Box Score Fayetteville, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's basketball team picked up their first road win of the season with an 81-63 win over Methodist on Wednesday night.
The Wildcats shot 49.1% from the field and 47.1% (8-17) from three point range as they pulled away from the Monarchs over the games final eleven and a half minutes. JWU outscored Methodist 25-13 during this stretch, turning a 56-50 game into an eighteen point final margin.
Anthoney Ray led the Wildcats with 20 points and 7 rebounds, while Fred Patterson added 19, and Ethan Smith had 18. Jaylen Benson-Hollinhead scored 9 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, as the Wildcats were +14 on the boards.
The Wildcats continue their road swing on Saturday, November, 19th as they travel to William Peace for a 1pm tipoff.
