Concord's Tatiana Bailey Opens Volleyball's 2026 Recruiting Class

Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte head volleyball coach Moana Reid is excited to announce the signing of Tatiana Bailey as the first member of the 2026 recruiting class.

Bailey is an outside hitter/opposite hitter that played at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute in 2025. She ranked second on the Cobras in kills with 248. Bailey helped lead CCC&TI to a 22-10 record, capped off by an appearance in the NJCAA D3 National Championships. She graduated from Cox Mill High School in Concord, N.C. in 2025, playing on the varsity team for two years. The Chargers went 21-4 and advanced to the third round of the NCHSAA playoffs in her senior season. She played club volleyball for Carolina Juniors.

She is the daughter of Kateri and Cornelius Bailey and plans to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales. She won the Coaches Award during her senior season at CMHS.

Coach Reid is eagerly awaiting Bailey's arrival on campus. "I am excited to add transfer pin Tati Bailey as our first signee to our 2026 roster. I think Tati's determination and attention to detail will serve her well as a Wildcat. She will help bring another aggressive and experienced option to our offense. I can't wait to see her transformation and growth as a wildcat as she continues her collegiate career!"
