Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales head baseball coach
Steve Hucke is happy to announce the signing of Jack Costenoble as the ninth member of the Wildcats' 2026 recruiting class.
Costenoble is a recent graduate of Lake Norman Charter School where he played baseball for the Knights for two years. LNCS won 29 games during those two seasons, advancing in the NCHSAA state baseball playoffs each year. He played in each of the Knights' 23 games this season, scoring 15 runs, driving in 7 more, and stealing 6 bases. He is a versatile player, able to play any of the eight defensive positions. He plays club baseball for Arena National.
Costenoble is the son of Steve Costenoble and plans to major in Sports, Event, and Entertainment Management at Johnson & Wales.Â
Coach Hucke feels that Costenoble's versatility as well as his intangibles make him the kind of player that will be successful at JWU. "Jack is the type of hard-nosed, gritty player that we look for at JWU! He will be a good asset to the Wildcat baseball family!"
